After families have a place to call home, we follow-up monthly for the first year. We provide Care Packages, a support system, and Letters of Encouragement to our families. Our care packages are filled with items that families need to get settled into their new home – items like toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, and soap. We also include a few fun items for the kids like coloring books and crayons. Our support services are available to help families adjust to their new life and to address any challenges they may be facing. Our letters of encouragement are written by volunteers and staff members who have been through similar experiences. These letters provide hope and remind our families that they are not alone in this journey.

As part of our mission, Community Reach is creating a planned community, Community Village that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for families coming out of homelessness. Designs are currently in the works with a targeting open date of 2025.
